Dave Raso - Managing Director | Founder

With more than 29 years of experience in the surveying industry, David Raso is a seasoned professional who has made significant contributions to the field. 

His journey began in 1994, working in various capacities in Victoria and abroad.

Starting as a field assistant at Dickson Hearn P.L. in 1993, David quickly advanced to become a party leader. In 1999, he joined Connelly and Associates Surveyors, where he continued to excel until 2012.

During a sabbatical in 2002-2003, David travelled abroad and contributed to projects like detailed surveys of the London underground rail network and consulting for Hampshire County Council.

In 2010, David decided to embrace regional living, relocating his family to Phillip Island in South Gippsland. The following year, he earned a Cadastral Endorsement as a Licensed Surveyor (Registration No. 1949).

In April 2012, David embarked on a new chapter by founding Raso Consulting Surveyors in Wonthaggi and assumed the role of Managing Director. This marked the beginning of a period of expansion as Raso Consulting Surveyors later took over Ken Richardson Surveyors in Foster, extending their services into South Gippsland.

David's extensive career has encompassed various disciplines within the surveying industry, with a primary focus on small and large-scale land development projects. 

His expertise in property title matters and subdivision is unparalleled.

As a leader at Raso Consulting Surveyors, David prioritises clients' interests, ensuring clarity and precision in all surveys and advice provided.

Beyond his professional life, Dave enjoys hobbies like dirt bike riding, sports cars, surfing, and spending quality time outdoors with his wife and children. He's an active participant in his local community, particularly in supporting his children's weekend sports and community activities.
